Community Guidelines
Shinsa is a place for Pump It Up players to share scores, clears, sessions and events, and to talk to each other about the game. These rules keep it welcoming. They apply to everything you put on Shinsa: posts, comments, messages, stories, profiles, event listings, World Max venue records, live-session chat, list names — all of it.
The rules
- Be respectful. No harassment, bullying, threats, or targeted abuse of any person. Disagree about charts, not about people.
- No hate. No content that attacks or demeans people on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or any similar characteristic.
- Keep it clean. No sexual or pornographic content, no graphic violence, no content that sexualises minors — that last one is reported to the authorities.
- No dangerous content. Nothing that promotes self-harm, eating disorders, or dangerous behaviour, and nothing that facilitates illegal activity.
- Be yourself. No impersonating other players, staff, or organisations, and no fake accounts.
- Play fair. Scores on Shinsa come from the arcade. Fabricated scores, doctored screenshots, and account sharing to inflate rankings are not allowed.
- Respect privacy. Don't share anyone's personal information — real name, address, phone, private messages, or photos of them — without their consent.
- No spam. No unsolicited advertising, repetitive posting, scams, or link farming.
- Own what you post. Only upload images and footage you have the right to share.
How reporting works
- Every post, comment, message, story, event, venue record and profile has a Report option in its menu (the … button, or press and hold). Choose a reason, add a note if you like, and it goes to the moderation team. Reporters stay anonymous.
- We review every report within 24 hours. Content that breaks these rules is removed, and the person who posted it may be warned, restricted, or have their account suspended or terminated. Repeat or serious violations mean a permanent ban.
- You can also email pumpdojo@gmail.com — for anything urgent, or if you would rather not use the in-app button.
Blocking
You can block any account from their profile or from any of their content. Blocking hides their posts, comments and messages from you, hides yours from them, and stops either of you following or messaging the other. The blocked person is not told. Manage your blocks in My Account → Blocked users.
Enforcement
Moderators act on reports and on anything they see themselves. Depending on severity we may remove the content, send a warning, restrict features (for example, commenting), suspend the account, or terminate it. Illegal content is reported to the relevant authorities. If you think we got it wrong, email pumpdojo@gmail.com and a different moderator will look again.
Accepting these rules
You accept these guidelines when you create an account and confirm them again before your first post. We will ask you to accept them again if they change in a way that matters.
